Whitfield Insurance Group is an independent insurance agency thats been serving Oakland County since 2003. As an independent agency, we represent dozens of carriers, which means we can shop the market and find the right coverage at the right price for each client.

Tom Whitfield founded the agency after fifteen years working for captive insurance companies, where he saw firsthand the limits of being able to offer only one companys products. As an independent, we work for the client, not the carrier.

Our specialties include personal lines (home, auto, umbrella), commercial business insurance for small to mid-sized businesses, and life insurance and estate planning coordination with attorneys and financial advisors.
